Urtekram Organic Chamomile Shampoo Review

Urtekram Organic Chamomile Shampoo is my latest natural shampoo discovery which I love. It’s made with 100% naturally derived ingredients and it’s certified by Ecocert and also vegan and cruelty-free. 14% of the ingredients found in this shampoo are organic. I’ve tried several different shampoos from Urtekram before and this one is definitely one of my favourites (I also like their scent-free version).

I decided to buy this natural shampoo as I love having my hair highlighted naturally and over the years my natural blond colour has certainly got darker. Sometimes I feel it’s not even blond anymore but in summer it is certainly lighter. I don’t want to bleach my hair so I tend to use natural shampoos and conditioners with ingredients known to lighten the hair naturally.

I’ve been quite impressed with Urtekram Chamomile Shampoo. It’s quite thick so you don’t need to apply much when you are using it. It lathers really well for a natural shampoo like that (it contains no SLSs). The lather is really rich and the shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean and soft.

I tend to use this shampoo together with Faith In Nature Ginkgo Biloba conditioner (on dry ends) and these two products work together really well. I actually got complimented on my hair colour when using Urtekram Chamomile Shampoo for the first time. Somebody thought that I got my hair coloured but actually, it’s the shampoo that did the trick. After use, my hair also feels smoother and shinier and just amazing.

The ingredient that is responsible for the lightening effect is, of course, chamomile while aloe vera and glycerine are responsible for getting rid of any dryness, making hair softer and healthier.

This Urtekram shampoo is perfect for fine, naturally light hair that is going darker but you could also use it on your light brown hair to make it glow. This is a lovely natural shampoo which I am definitely going to re-purchase in the future and I am happy to recommend it. Available from Amazon and Ecco Verde.

I hope you found this review useful. Have you tried any shampoos from Urtekram yet and what did you think?
